What is Delta Map?
Delta Map is an execution-grade study that maps real-time order flow delta to help traders quickly identify where aggressive buyers or sellers are in control, where price and delta are diverging, and where a rotation is losing momentum. It is built for traders who already use volume profile, VWAP, and structural levels and want a delta read that integrates cleanly into that workflow.
Who it's for
- Order flow traders who use delta divergence as a core read.
- Discretionary futures traders on ES, NQ, CL, and other liquid CME products.
- OFL users who want a delta layer alongside Dominator, EAD, and Liquidity Zones.
- Traders fading rotations at extremes with delta exhaustion as confirmation.
- Trend traders confirming continuation when delta supports the move.
How Delta Map works
Real-time delta visualization
Delta Map plots order flow delta in real time as the auction develops, giving traders an immediate read on which side is doing the aggressing. Rather than parsing a dense footprint cell by cell, traders can read direction, magnitude, and shifts at a glance.
Divergence and exhaustion reads
The most actionable Delta Map reads are divergences — when price makes a new extreme but delta does not, signaling that the move is being pushed by fewer participants than the prior leg. These setups frequently align with EAD triangles and structural extremes.
Built to layer with execution and structure
Delta Map is designed to be read on the same chart as your structural references and OFL execution tools. Use it to add a delta-based layer of confirmation to Dominator arrows, EAD triangles, and Liquidity Zone retests, and to validate or invalidate trades at LVNs, VWAP, prior day OHLC, and OFL Buy and Sell Zones.
Setup and installation
- Install the OFL package in a supported platform of your choice (Sierra Chart, MotiveWave, NinjaTrader, or EdgeProX).
- Apply Delta Map to your execution chart for the instrument you trade.
- Load the recommended settings from the included chartbook.
- Layer Delta Map with your structural chart and OFL execution studies for full confluence reads.

Example use case
ES rotates up into a session LVN above current value. Price prints a new high, but Delta Map shows delta failing to confirm — the new high was made on materially less aggression than the prior leg. As price stalls inside the LVN, an EAD sell-side triangle fires. The trader uses the LVN as the structural thesis, the delta divergence on Delta Map as the order flow read, and the EAD as the execution trigger to fade back into value.
